Wrinkled Dove Snail (Amphissa
columbiana) ~ This species is mainly a
scavenger of dead flesh and dead algae, which it uses
its long siphon to find.
It is a very active snail. It moves using a single
muscular wave along its foot from front to back.
This snail can climb very well and can rear up on the
back of its foot to feel for new They climb well, and
